What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your computer or mobile device when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.
Cookies can be “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain for a set period. They store information such as your preferences or login status. Cookies do not typically contain personal information, but they can be linked to personal data if combined with other records.
